This is my current Spotify information page.

If it's up and running, you'll see current track (name of the song and the band/artist), album cover and album name (the latter often included on the cover as well, but not always).
I will also show links directly to Spotify Web Player and a lyrics search on musixmatch.com, both based on the current track.

If it's not, you'll just see a static image of me or the Crimson ghost.

Using PHP, AJAX and jQuery with the help from a niftly little application called Snip and finally using Goodsync to sync everything to the server.
